From Leeds, Leave M1 at junction 40, turn right heading towards Dewsbury, as you join dual carriageway take 1st exit sign posted Ossett/Flushdyke. Follow road for 3/4 mile pub is on the left. PLEASE NOTE THE LANDLORD HAS ASKED IF WE CAN PARK ON THE ROAD.
New Landlord Ian is getting a well deserved reputation for bringing a choice of real ales to the Red Lion. Due to the short notice food will be available from the pubs menu at your own cost.

From Leeds
On A61 towards Harrogate. turn Right at roundabout onto the Harrogate bypass A658.
Carry straight on at roundabout with A661 and take the next left turn.
Follow this road down and over the river and up the hill. Turn left after the pedestrian crossing. There are car parks on both sides (Free up to 1pm) or you can park in the market place if there is room. The back of the pub is straight ahead (the front is in the market place!)
You can also get there by bus or train.
Those two Cheeky Monkeys are gigging on the Saturday night at this top Knaresborogh venue to celebrate their birthdays and laying a really top class trail for your enjoyment, don't miss it - this one is going to be cracker!
